Health Guarantee & Contract Terms

___ * Breeder guarantees the health of the above mentioned kitten/cat for 3 days from the date of delivery. Buyer should have this kitten/cat examined within 3 days by a licensed veterinarian. Failure to do so will result in this health agreement being null and void. Buyer should be aware that during times of stress, such as moving to a new home, being shipped by plane, or meeting new people and animals, cats can exhibit a variety of symptoms, such as sneezing, watery eyes, runny nose, lack of appetite, constipation, or diarrhea. This is completely normal and usually of short duration.
___ * Buyer is responsible for all veterinary costs once he/she takes ownership of the kitten/cat, unless this kitten/cat is found to be ill within the above mentioned 3 day time frame. If this kitten/cat is found to be in ill health within the first 3days, breeder will pay reasonable fees for medication and/or treatment.
____* This kitten/cat is guaranteed against genetic defects. If the cat dies an untimely death within the first year of ownership due to a genetic defect, breeder agrees to replace this kitten/cat with a kitten of equal value at such time as one becomes available. Buyer must provide proof from a licensed vet that the death was due to a genetic defect.
___ * Buyer agrees that if for any reason they cannot keep the kitten/cat that they must contact the breeder, for 1st option on taking this kitten /cat back. Under no circumstances will this cat/kitten ever be abandoned, given to any pet shop, humane society, pound, shelter, research facility, or euthanized for behavioral problems.
____ * Buyer agrees not to permit this kitten/cat to be given the FIP (Feline Infectious Peritontis)
vaccination. Recent reports show this vaccine is ineffective and may actually predispose your pet to the disease.
____ * Buyer agrees that if the Rabies vaccine is given, by buyers choice or by local law, that it will not be given until the kitten/cat is at least 6 months of age. In addition, it will not be given at the same time as any other vaccination.
____ * If this Kitten/cat is found to be malnourished, abused, neglected, or unattended outdoors, the buyer will surrender this kitten/cat to this breeder unconditionally.
____ * Buyer promises that this cat/kitten will be an INDOOR ONLY pet.
____ * Buyer agrees that the cat/kitten will NEVER BE DECLAWED. All guarantees are voided if the kitten/cat is declawed.
